Our paths crossed
#1 It was definitely no coincidence!
On August 10, 2016, on a non-slip mat at Holsby preschool, Jessica heard about Abir for the first time. It was the children’s introduction period, and our children were in the same group. Abir’s husband was sitting on a play mat with bright colors, with many houses, roads, and parks. There on that non-slip mat, Jessica heard about Abir for the first time, and they met not long after.

After that, we started seeing each other often at the preschool. Small conversations in passing, smiles, recognition.
But it wasn’t until we began working at the same workplace that we realized there was something more to our friendship. During breaks and meetings, our conversations always returned to what matters most – family, children, and life, both in the everyday moments and the deeper ones.

We began seeking out quiet corners, where our conversations could take their time. We loved diving into topics that held both laughter and tears. Even though we come from different worlds, we shared a similar outlook on life.

What unites us is love!

#2 Development is my calling
To understand how I ended up here, I need to go back a few years. When I was developing a course in entrepreneurship and game development at Ädelfors Folk High School for students with NPF, I met a researcher specializing in entrepreneurship and ADHD.

Our conversation about the importance of coaching and meditation proved pivotal. During my eight years as course director for Indie Game Studio, I have therefore placed strong emphasis on individual conversations and witnessed the difference that increased understanding and self-awareness can make.
Over the years, I have often returned to a speech by Steve Jobs, where he says: "You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards." That quote has stayed with me, and I can see how the different paths and steps in my life have led me to Boom In Bloom.

What enriches me most is my husband Andreas, our son Elliott, and our cats. I am driven by growth and new experiences – travel, our home, our island, deep conversations, and loving relationships that allow life to blossom.

#3 Love drives me in my life
I was born in Aalborg, in North Jutland – close to the sea and the open horizon. There, my longing for growth, new perspectives, and the courage to follow my own path was awakened early on.

My journey hasn’t been a straight line. I moved to Aarhus to study dentistry, but after a year, I realized my passion lay elsewhere – in connecting with people. I chose to follow my heart and began working with children.
There, I found my “why”: to be part of empowering, supporting, and witnessing others blossom.

Love carried me across borders, and after starting a family, I moved from Denmark to Sweden.

Here, my commitment to education and social development deepened. I worked as a teacher for newly arrived students at Ädelfors Folk High School and today work as a project manager at Save the Children South. Over the years, I have seen how the right support, the right environment, and the right context can change lives.

Now we are here!
#4 We all bloom in our own pace
Boom In Bloom looks forward with a clear intention: to contribute to lives shaped by trust, love, and joy.

What we do comes from the heart – from what touches us deeply and what we ourselves believe in and live by. Our commitment is rooted in the desire to create space to pause, listen inward, and build a safe and loving relationship, both with oneself and with others.

Even though our focus is on children and their environments, what we create is for everyone – for people of all ages and life situations who long for greater presence, understanding, and inner strength.

We develop materials in Swedish, English, Danish, and Arabic so that more people can recognize themselves and feel included.
Everything we do is based on the same foundation: to strengthen well-being, awaken awareness, and offer tools that work in real life – for a life that blooms from within.
